We can do your social networking for you, or we can help you get set up on any of the major social networking websites. Our SEO Packages are all about us doing it for you, but what if you just need a boost in the right direction? We can help you get set up and show you how to effectively use the following social network websites for your business or personal growth:
Sites like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter are used to promote your company and your name. You can focus on specific areas (geographic, demographic or otherwise) where you want to promote your business. Social networking sites allow unlimited access to millions of people without high costs. When people are familiar with your name, you become that much easier to find. And when customers see your website right there in front of them on a regular basis, they'll click on it. When you get traffic, you get customers.
We sit down with you one-on-one and help you set up an account, teach you how to use the account and effectively market yourself or your business online. For example, if you have a Twitter account, how many Tweets should you make per week? What's a good schedule so you don't get overwhelmed and where you can effectively reach your target audience? (3 times per week, minimum). We discuss the logistics and terminology of each of the social networking sites you are interested in, and get you all set up and running. We even teach you how to track the effectiveness of your efforts.
In July 2009, our client, Sandman Book Company, asked us to do a little social networking for them. We made a post on our own account on Twitter, stating, "Like books? New ones, used ones, German ones, weird ones? Visit Sandman Book Co in Punta Gorda, FL or their website at www.sandmanbooks.com!". Now our little post went out to our Twitter followers, and one of them did something called ReTweeting. RTing means that they took our post and reposted it to their followers, allowing it to reach a wider audience. The Cape Coral Grapevine RTed the post to their 2,500+ local followers, all within driving distance of the bookstore. The bookstore actually had people stop in and say "hey, I saw you on Twitter!". That's the power of social networking.
Swampbuggiesfl.com is a spin-off of MC Ventures Truck Bodies, an Alva, FL company. It was a new website, only launched for a couple of days. You may not know, but it takes search engines like Google up to three weeks to notice newly launched websites, even if you submit them to the search engine. We wanted to get the Swamp Buggies website noticed, so we made a very simple Twitter post about it, saying "Check out http://www.swampbuggiesfl.com. One of our latest releases!". The moral of this story isn't how many people saw the website the first few weeks (about 350), but that our Twitter post showed up number one on Google when you searched for "Swamp Buggies FL". The site itself showed up on search engines not long after, but our Twitter post enabled the site to be easily found immediately after launch. Whoo hoo!
Noble Jewelers of Fort Myers, Florida, offers gold buying fundraising opportunities to local businesses, hospitals, schools and other groups. They did an event for the Lee County Electric Cooperative, and the LCEC promoted the event through their Facebook account. Noble Jewelers received several fundraising inquires from other LCEC customers, as well as a strong attendance at the event itself. And they started social networking! Visit Noble Jewelers today on Twitter!
Scary isn't it?
