New Websites
Need a brand new website? We offer customized quotes tailored to your specific business or personal needs. But we also have four popular Website Packages that might meet your needs, and they'll give you a good idea of what website development includes and what it costs. If, however, you need a customized website not offered through one of our packages, we just sit down together and talk about what you need - perhaps a Shopping Cart, a membership website or some photo galleries. Perhaps an MLS-integrated real estate website, or a site designed for lead capturing or with "squeeze pages". Whatever you need, we are able to help.
Website Packages
Our four most popular website packages are shown below. If you need a brand new website, these pretty and cost-effective options can have you on the web in a matter of days. If you need specialized graphics design or other custom features, we'd be happy to provide a tailored proposal to best meet your specific needs.
Business Card Website - $300
|
Basic Website - $500
|
|
Expanded Website - $750
|
Professional Website - $1000
|
As always, on any website, you provide the content and photos. We do offer content development services (most commonly referred to as Copyrighting) at an additional per-page rate.
To set up a meeting (or just ask a question), call (239) 244-1244, email support@whitecrossroads.com or use our contact form.

Graphical Mock-Ups
For Joyce Diveley's pottery website, we developed a custom graphical template in Illustrator based on her business cards and "whimsical" look and feel. Check out Joyce's pottery - she ships anywhere in the USA!
Sometimes you just need to see exactly what the website will look like before it is built. Now, if you are utilizing one of our Website Packages, we offer certain premade "look & feel" templates, which we will demonstrate through pointing out available options in our Portfolio. But if you are building something truly custom, with it's own special design and appearance, then a graphical mock-up might be what you need.
Actually, let's get a little more specific. If you need a design that is more than a web designer can do during the site development process, we take that design to our graphics designer. Whether you want a mock-up ahead of time or not, the graphics designer is still going to make one as we develop your website, and the below Mock-up will be built into the development cost of the website. So you might as well take advantage of the process and get in all the customizing you need! :)
Web Design Mockup - $650
- Meeting with you to discuss preferences and information to be included
- Wireframes created for web site
- Logo/copy provided by you
- Mock up of graphics in layered Photoshop file
- 2 designs of Home page
- 2 rounds of revisions*
- Final Home page and template page provided to web designer for slicing
- * Additional designs and revisions billed at $75/hour
Website FAQs
How long does it take to build a website?
We usually complete websites within 3 weeks of having a website outline, the content and the photos. Actually, we usually complete them in about 5 days, but we like a little window there. When you are ready to start your project, we'll meet with you and help lay out a specific timeline by which your website will be complete. We also offer an expedited service option if you need a project completed in less than a week - just ask your friendly local White Crossroads representative for details.
Can I have an email address with my website name?
Absolutely. Several, in fact. See our Website Hosting section for more details.
How do I know if anyone is actually using my site?
We utilize Google Analytics website tracking on all websites and give you access to it so you can see the number of visitors you are getting, where they are coming from and more!
Will my website be on the first page of search engine results?
Maybe. It's hard to tell until about 3 weeks after a new website is launched. When we built new websites, we search engine optimize them in every way we know how to ensure that they place as high as possible when they are first launched. If the site isn't placing where you'd like it to be after about 3 weeks, we'll sit down and discuss some of our Search Engine Optimization options and packages with you to see which one will best meet your goals.
What do I have to do to maintain my new website?
In order to keep your site up-to-date and interesting, provide new information on your site as frequently as you can. You can do this yourself (we are always happy to provide Website Training), or we can do it for you as needed.
Are there on-going costs to keep my website on the web?
Once a year (unless you choose to pay for multiple years in advance), you will need to renew your Domain Registration and Website Hosting. Development and updating costs are only incurred if you choose to make a change to your website.
What kind of support do I receive after my website is up and running?
After a new site is up and running and you give the final clearance, the "It's Done" notice, future updates are available through one of our updating options.
But if your website or email should break due to a host failure, we'll fix it, usually before you notice. If you break something, we'll still fix it, but we'll have to charge you. And every now and then a big update comes through in design styles or coding. If it's important or if it's something we didn't know was important when we built your site, we'll do it at no cost (for example, Joomla website updates to protect against new security threats). And by the way, if you edit your website on occasion, we will always ask you before we make any change to your website, lest we should overwrite each other.
Do you actually build the websites in the USA, or do you outsource to another country?
We build them all right here in Southwest Florida. Actually, some of our staff members have gone off to college on the Southeast side of Florida, so we reserve the right to build them on the other coast! But really, we have local employees that you could actually meet and shake hands with in person. Even our search engine optimization takes place here in Florida. We occasionally outsource specific coding components of our larger, more advanced sites to other tech companies, but we try to work with local companies that we can personally meet and get to know.
Technical Specifications
For those who like to delve deeper into the specifics, this little section is for you!
We use the Adobe Premium CS3 & CS4 packages and design the majority of our sites in Dreamweaver. We utilize spry & Ajax on some of our websites, particularly for easy-to-update drop-down menus. We use Photoshop and Illustrator for our graphics and logo design. Our staff is fluent in all the latest web and graphics design programs.
All of our Dreamweaver websites are made with .dwt templates for use in Adobe Dreamweaver 8 or above or in Microsoft SharePoint. Use of Microsoft FrontPage is not recommended. Our Joomla sites are built in 2.0 or the then-current design version. Our E-Commerce sites are built using the cart most suited to the client's needs.
Our advanced sites utilize Dreamhost's hosting options, which include full shell and command line access. This is available to customers, but only by special request. See our Hosting section for more details.
If you'd like any other technical details or specifics on how we operate, please contact us and we'll be happy to fill you in on all the juicy details.
“Ms. Searcy has provided invaluable assistance building the UW-L Symphony Orchestra website. She designed our original Dreamweaver template and also helped us later in our move into a collaborative next-generation template. Her expertise with Photoshop & Illustrator greatly improved the website's pictures and graphics and transformed our design into a very modern concept. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service support she has provided, particularly in her willingness and speed in converting our original website to the new university-wide template. Several times, she found creative and unique solutions for unexpected needs. I am always delighted to work together with Roshan. She tirelessly focuses on my needs and is always willing to go the extra mile in support of my ideas.” - Enaldo Oliveira, Conductor, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Symphony Orchestra
